Tip 1- Research Check the completed listings on items just like yours to see how much they sell for or if they sell at all and Make Your prices compared with them.

Tip 2- Preparation Get Your boxes, bubble wrap, etc. Get a digital scale that will weigh your heaviest item. Box every thing up like you were going to ship it and then weigh it. This is needed for the postage calculator when you start a listing. Just guessing at the weight can end up costing you Big Money. Estimate too much and you may have to give the bidder a partial refund if they complain when the shipping is way too high.

There is far too much to go into here and why should people give you the benefit of their hard earned knowledge? Everyone has to learn the hard way by starting out, making a few mistakes and learning as they go along.

Tip 4-Item Pictures Take several pictures from your item, make things clear for buyer. Using stock photos for a used item often causes confusion for bidders. Bidders don’t like that and may demand a refund.

Tip 5-Paypal account Having a paypal account is a good idea, many bidder won’t bid if you don’t have one. It’s free and easy step you just need an email and a Credit Card.

Tip 6-Shipping Be aware that shipping out of the country is not a good idea for a new seller. Get some sales in your country first so you know what you are doing. Many bidders from other countries don’t realize that their governments may charge them an extra fee or tax. These bidders are often unhappy and may try to get you to pay it or demand a refund or even refuse the package.

Tip 7-Be aware Never sell to some countries that are filled with scammers that will rip you off. You may ask your friends and people with more experience on Ebay for more information about countries that you can’t trust.
